1. Age-Appropriate Admission

We strictly follow CBSE and NEP 2020 guidelines for age criteria. Admission is granted based on the child's age as on 31st March of the admission year.

2. Holistic Evaluation

Our admission process considers academic readiness, social-emotional development, and overall potential. For higher classes, previous academic records are evaluated.

3. Transparent Process

Complete transparency in admission procedures with clear communication at every stage. Parents receive timely updates about application status.

4. Inclusive Education

Required Documents for Admission

The following documents are mandatory for completing the admission process:

All documents must be submitted within 15 days of provisional admission confirmation.

Admission Process Timeline

Our admission process follows a systematic timeline to ensure smooth enrollment:

  2. ➮ Phase 2 (Jan-Feb): Submission of completed application forms
  3. ➮ Phase 3 (Feb-Mar): Interaction sessions and document verification
  4. ➮ Phase 4 (Mar-Apr): Final admission confirmation and fee payment
Early application is recommended as seats are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fee Structure & Payment

The complete fee structure is available at the school office. We offer flexible payment options including quarterly and half-yearly plans. Fee concessions are available for siblings and economically weaker sections as per government guidelines.

ADMISSION AGE CRITERIA

Effective From: Academic Session 2026-27 onwards (Phased Implementation)

1. Age Eligibility Criteria

All admissions at Zigyasa School follow the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 guidelines and CBSE directives for age-appropriate admission.

2. Foundational Stage Structure

As per NEP 2020, the Foundational Stage has been restructured to include three years of pre-primary education followed by Class 1 at age 6+.

3. Official Age Criteria (Effective 2026-27)

The minimum and maximum age for admission to various classes as on 31st March of the admission year:

4. Age Relaxation Policy

The school may grant age relaxation of up to one month (30 days) in minimum as well as maximum age criteria at the discretion of the Principal, based on individual assessment of the child's readiness.

5. Exemptions for Regular Students

Students transferring from other recognized CBSE schools with valid School Leaving Certificate and mark sheets are exempted from age criteria for admission to next higher class.

6. Phased Implementation Schedule

The new age criteria will be implemented in phases starting from Academic Session 2026-27:

  • Siblings of current students get preference
